Kambi chosen for multi-province Canada sportsbook
Gambling technology company Kambi Group has been chosen to provide sportsbook technology and services for a multi-province Canadian betting plan that will cover seven provinces. The agreement follows a request by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation to find one supplier that can support multiple operators through one platform.
The framework will help lottery corporations operate with shared technology while still having control of their own jurisdictions. Atlantic Lottery Corporation currently covers Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, whil British Columbia Lottery Corporation regulates gambling in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Under the agreement, Kambi will supply its technology for both online and retail gambling, including trading services, risk management, and compliance tools.
Speaking about the project, the Director of Sports Betting at Atlantic Lottery, Scott Eagles, said it was an important upgrade for provincial gambling,
